Moms know all about laundry. If nothing else, doing laundry is a regular task that we try to fit into our weekly routine. Laundry can also be a science, with tons of tips available about how to best wash laundry, remove stains from kids’ outfits, and even limit wear on clothing from regular washing. I like using natural laundry products such as Molly’s Suds and I try to regularly schedule doing the laundry at our house. I can’t do laundry every day and no one likes running out of clean clothes. Molly’s Suds helps our family stay clean and go green by using Eco-friendly laundry detergent.
This post is written on behalf of Molly’s Suds. All opinions are my own.
My kids create dirty laundry all sorts of ways. The main way laundry is created at our house is from outfit changes. My girls apparently feel like they need to change outfits several times a day. This habit is somewhat balanced out by the times my kids feel like they don’t need to wear any clothes at all! But still, dirty laundry ends up in piles on the floor.
Natural & Effective Laundry Products
When it comes to washing our dirty laundry, I look for products that don’t have a strong fragrance and are gentle on cotton clothing (which most of our clothing is made from). Molly’s Suds laundry products was created by a problem-solving mom as an Eco-friendly and non-toxic alternative for laundry detergent and stain removers. Molly’s Suds products are made using the purest of ingredients without carcinogens or known human toxins and are even biodegradable, gentle on the environment, and safe for the smallest members of our family.

Mommy Life is messy, especially when it comes to laundry. My kids enjoy doing craft projects, coloring, gluing, playing with homemade sensory glitter slime, and creating art with homemade finger paint. Any creative kids project such as finger paint is bound to end up in hair, on faces, and definitely on clothing. After an afternoon painting activity, Molly’s Suds can help! Our colorful finger paint is super easy to make with just cornstarch, flour, and water. Cornstarch creates smoother finger paint, while the flour helps it flow like paint. Easily mix up your own finger paint and let your kids choose their favorite colors! See our full DIY finger paint tutorial here.
Learning Life Skills Creates Laundry
My girls also love helping me cook in the kitchen, playing outside, and enjoying snacks — all the while creating dirty laundry. I’m sure we will make lots of holiday goodies this year and my girls want to be involved in every step of the process. Molly’s Suds laundry products help me easily remove food and dirt stains from my daughter’s clothing because after all — dirty laundry happens when you’re having fun.
I received a variety of Molly’s Suds products to try with our own family; liquid and powder laundry detergent, color-safe clothing whitener, laundry wash for sports clothing, and even wool dryer balls. I like having options when doing our family’s laundry. Powder detergent works well for towels and sheets and liquid detergent effectively takes out stains and dirt from my kids’ shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses. Molly’s Suds detergent is naturally formulated and effective at washing a full load of kids’ clothing!
Molly’s Suds laundry products are made with a “no compromise” attitude and the purest of Certified Vegan ingredients. These naturally-made laundry products meet stringent guidelines which allow Molly’s Suds to be Certified Cruelty Free by Leaping Bunny.

I spot treat the moment I put something in the hamper. That way it has time to do the work and I don’t forget to apply it at wash time.
I use Borax for orders and tough stains.
I sort my laundry into different baskets as soon as it makes it into the laundry room so I just have to grab a full basket and start the washer.
I have a very athletic daughter who’s sports bras and athletic tops would have such a smell. no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get the smell out. One day I put a sprayer on top of a peroxide brown bottle, and sprayed her stinky stuff and let it sit… Read more »
I put in a load of towels as soon as I get up in the morning so they are done by the time I leave for work. I also use some vinegar in the rinse.
No clue I’ll be reading for tips. I just have to try to not do it all at once otherwise I can’t handle it HA! Diapers get their own day though 🙂
try to remove stains as soon as possible
I do laundry every few days I don’t let it pile up.
I like to treat stains as soon as I can so they don’t set in.
Pre soak stain treated clothes before washing!
Our laundry is on the main floor, so if I have stinky towels or dishrags, they go strait into the washing machine to await their turn, so they don’t get the rest of the laundry (and our bedroom!) smelling swampy.
Pre soak the clothes.
My top tip is to presort your laundry and pit it close by your laundry room and slightly in sight of a place you pass by alot. I also sometimes set an alarm for laundry days
Never let laundry build up to where it gets overwhelming. I put a load in every night before I go to bed, And when I get up at 5:30 I place right into the dryer.
I check for stains, close all zippers and buttons on pants and turn special clothing items inside out if they have decorations on them before washing. I also use as little detergent as possible.
Pre-soak is key! I have never heard of this brand before! I’m going to check these out. I love natural products!

My best laundry trick is to start filling my washer with dirt clothes as I get them. I do laundry all week as needed so once my washer is full of dirty clothes I add soap and start.

Just started to use Molly’s Suds. I love it.
I start one load of laundry in the morning before kids wake up, switch it at nap time and start another one. Finish up when they’re in bed.
I have two kids, two dogs, and a husband. My best tip for keeping up with the laundry is to constantly do the laundry otherwise it piles up on me.
seltzer water or tonic water is a great pre-treater for stains!
