Make these easy DIY Candy Corn treat cups with a few pieces of colored card stock and a glue stick! Treat cups are great for kids’ parties, your next Halloween bash, a Thanksgiving fall festival or just for fun! We decorated our homemade party treat cups to look like oversized pieces of candy corn.
To make a candy corn treat cup, fold a piece of orange card stock to make a triangle cone shape.
Trim off any extra orange paper edges, but don’t cut the folds which create the cone shape! Cut off the top (wide end) of the cone so that the edges are slightly rounded.
Glue the open side edges of the cone together using a craft glue stick.
Lay the paper treat cone on top of a piece of yellow paper and trace around the top of the cone. Cut out a stripe of yellow paper and glue it to the top of the paper treat cup.
Lay the paper cone on top of a piece of white paper and trace around the tip of the cone. Cut out the white triangle shape and glue it onto the candy corn treat cup.
You can make a treat cup for each of your party guests! Allow the candy corn treat cups to fully dry and fill them up with small candies, popcorn, nuts and dried berries. These DIY paper treat cups would be a fun accent for a fall kids’ party or a Halloween costume party!
