I’ve carried a diaper bag around for about 4 years. Now that I have a 6-year-old, it can be challenging to carry her stuff as well as baby essentials for my little son. I ditched the diaper bag awhile ago in lieu of a few diapers and a pack of wipes, except sometimes these minimal basics aren’t enough. I was excited to discover DiaperQuick, a streamlined bag that provides a clean spot to change a diaper AND holds a few essentials such as 2 to 3 diapers, wipes, a tube of diaper cream and even an extra shirt for my little man.
The DiaperQuick bag holds several basic baby items and it’s so streamlined I don’t feel like I’m carrying a diaper bag at all. I appreciate the clever design, complete with a fold-out changing pad and a discrete pocket for holding a few baby items.
It’s comfortable to lay my baby down on the wipable changing pad even on grass or sand. The DiaperQuick will be super handy when we visit the beach on our family vacation this summer. Now that I’ll be carrying sand toys, a beach umbrella and towels for my older kids, I definitely don’t want to bring a huge diaper bag along. If I put my diapering gear in my beach bag, the diapers and wipes can easily get sandy and soiled. The DiaperQuick bag keeps baby essentials separate and clean and it’s small enough to fit inside my beach bag.
Other things I take on the go during family adventures include:
Natural Baby Sunscreen
It’s hard to start off the summer with an unconformable sunburn. My kids love going to the park, splash pad, water park and beach. I try to give them one layer of sunscreen before playing the sun and often reapply it later if they seem to be getting a little red. Thinkbaby makes a great kids sunscreen that isn’t too greasy and provides wonderful sun protection. This natural sunscreen is great for parents too.
Hats for Sun Shade
Now that I’m a mom I’m realizing the importance of wearing a hat. Teaching kids to wear hats in the sun at a young age will help them take care of their skin and reduce sunburns and wrinkles later on. You can find water resistant hats and kids sun hats with a brim all the way around that are designed for shading little faces from the sun. Wearing a breathable sun hat makes playtime outside less hot and more comfortable!
Lots of Water to Stay Hydrated
It’s important to drink lots of water when playing outside. My little guy would stay out in our yard all day if he could and it’s my job to make sure he stays hydrated. You can encourage kids to drink plenty of liquids by allowing them to drink from a clean garden hose, filling up their favorite cups with cold ice water or making apple juice ice pops! Always take a water bottle when on the go; a must-have family travel essential.
While you are out and about, you can easily change your baby or toddler’s diaper using the DiaperQuick changing pad, without taking up too much space for the rest of the family’s gear.

This looks like the daddy of diaper bags, it has space for all the essentials but is small and handy. Sounds like a win to me.
I’m definitely going to consider this for any upcoming baby shower gifts! I think a lot of mom’s to be get the traditional bag and this should be a helpful addition.
This bag looks really comprehensive and functional. I hope you have a great summer with your family.
wow! this diaper bag looks awesome! My youngest is now being potty trained, so she doesn’t wear diapers as often now. However last weekend we were on a road trip and I decided that she would wear diapers as we didn’t know how often or if we could stop at… Read more »
The Diaper quick bag look so cute and functional in may ways. Love the creative design which has few pockets to hold baby items.
I’ve been wanting to get some all natural sunscreen for our little one. Haven’t heard of this one but we will definitely have to check it out!
