I’ve carried a diaper bag around for about 4 years. Now that I have a 6-year-old, it can be challenging to carry her stuff as well as baby essentials for my little son. In mommy life, how often do we hear “Mommy, will you forgive me?” during the course of a week? If I’m training my children to recognize their faults and practice humility, I will hopefully hear this phrase at least a few times a week. Days get busy, children disobey, attitudes flare up and mommies can get frustrated too. I often have to ask my kids for forgiveness for my own attitude. It’s important for us moms to teach our kids by example how to deal with their emotions, identify their wrongs and seek forgiveness to make their relationships right again. But how can we effectively do this?
My kids love playtime activities that are interactive and creative! Kids can dress up with Wild Things Animal Blankets, play with homemade glitter slime or create art on a chalkboard table to make the shortened fall days a little more interesting.
Moms know all about laundry. If nothing else, doing laundry is a regular task that we try to fit into our weekly routine. Laundry can also be a science, with tons of tips available about how to best wash laundry, remove stains from kids’ outfits, and even limit wear on clothing from regular washing. I like using natural laundry products such as Molly’s Suds and I try to regularly schedule doing the laundry at our house. I can’t do laundry every day and no one likes running out of clean clothes. Molly’s Suds helps our family stay clean and go green by using Eco-friendly laundry detergent.
