Today we had lots of fun at the New Leaf Nursery fall festival! We stopped on the way home from my daughter’s soccer game and she immediately spotted the colorful bounce houses and “Zorb” inflatable balls. This Coeur d’Alene nursery family day offered plenty of free things to do too; a petting zoo, a hay bale maze, rock painting and beautiful fall flowers to view.
If only my yard looked like this! We already planted some fall mums and I love the purples and yellows that do so well in fall weather. Every garden needs a pop of color in the fall.

Coeur d’Alene Nursery Family Day
My daughter had lots of fun running through the corn maze, several times. I’m also going to go back to this Coeur d’Alene nursery and pick up a bale of hay for our own fall-inspired front porch decor at home.
My 5-year-old also tried the Zorb water balls. She had a little bit of trouble moving around in it and balancing, but she had fun trying. Kids always like interesting inflatable activities.
Inside the New Leaf Nursery barn we found a rock painting kid’s activity and lots of fall-inspired decorating ideas to look at.
We love going to family-friendly community events, especially when it’s spontaneous! Today was a super chilly day but we stayed bundled up and had a lot of fun looking at all the fall flowers and picking out a pumpkin.
