Our family road trip took us to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, where we saw exhibits about dinosaurs, gems & minerals, an IMAX presentation on flight and visited the Planetarium. We also had fun at the museum’s interactive kid-focused Discovery Zone, a highlight of our visit!
Teaching science to kids can be creative and fun! It’s easy to make school at home interesting and interactive to inspire a love for learning. Here are a few projects we’ve enjoyed to mix up our daily homeschool routine.
The best way to learn about science is by performing your own experiments, but not every family has a full science lab in their garage. Science is everywhere and you don’t need to visit a lab to teach your kids all sorts of things using static electricity. These static electricity activities are fun to incorporate into homeschool or do as an after school activity.
