Easily make this fun no borax liquid slime as a fun afternoon activity for kids! You can make slime in all colors and themes; black space slime, shimmery purple mermaid slime and green jungle slime! Kids will have a blast with this hands-on chemistry experiment.
How to Make Liquid Slime (No Borax)
DIY Slime Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup clear school glue
- 1/2 cup liquid starch
- food coloring / glitter
Step 1: Mix together 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup clear school glue until completely combined.
Step 2: Add a few drops of food coloring, glitter, or confetti and stir until combined.
Step 3: Pour in 1/2 cup of liquid starch and stir until the slime begins to form.
Step 4: Knead the slime with your hands until all the liquid is absorbed. The more you play with it, the better slime gets!
Tip! White glue will create pastel slime. Clear glue will create brightly colored slime!

Yes, slime is popular, which means it’s important to find a gentle recipe because some of the Borax recipes can create skin irritation if kids play with it a lot. Really this slime is just congealed glue and starch!
