Customize a Storybook With Your Child’s Art

by Katie Wallace | Updated: September 11, 2018

Does your child love to create art? When kids art projects start piling up, it can be challenging to know what to do with them all. I was intrigued to learn about a customized kid’s storybook that showcases your child’s art within a fun storyline. Piccuzoo is a new kind of personalized book for kids! Upload a handful of photos or scans of your child’s art and the book designers will create a custom story for your child.

This feature is written on behalf of Piccuzoo. All opinions are our own.

Colorful Custom Piccuzoo Storybook With Your Child's Art

Illustrate a Custom Kid’s Storybook

My daughter loves drawing, painting and making up stories. She often creates art with pens, markers, watercolor paints and colorful acrylic craft paint. One of the cool things about Piccuzoo customized storybooks is that you can showcase any kind of kids art within the colorfully illustrated pages. My daughter drew or painted 10 different pieces of art and I scanned them to create digital copies of her art. Any art that fits on a square or rectangle piece of paper will do!

Next comes the book creation. To design a Piccuzoo kids storybook, start by entering the little artist’s full name, selecting his/her gender and entering your child’s age. You’ll then be prompted to submit 10 different pieces of art. The Piccuzoo website also offers tips for good quality pictures, such as use a scanner or a scanner app and make sure to upload pictures in a specific file format.

Once you upload 10 photos or scans of your child’s art, you can create a personalized dedication to your little artist which will be used on the first page of your child’s book.

I love everything about this post. I certainly would have done this when my kids were young. Might need to save it and dig around for old artwork and make one to give as a memory book to them now!

I adore my preschooler’s art right now. There are lots of rainbows and people who also resemble balloons. I would adore turning her illustration into such a darling keepsake for us to enjoy together.

What a great idea. With 2 young grandchildren and all their art posted on the fridge and walls this will clean up the clutter lol. Is it ok to call their art clutter? Ha

I love the concept of these Piccuzoo art books. Several years ago I used binders to showcase my kids art work. It was a lengthy process as I have 5 kids. These Piccuzoo books are a major step up and sound so much easier. And on top of that the… Read more »

A piccuzoo book is definitely a great way to encourage little artists to keep creating. Creativity in childhood helps kids in many areas later in life.
