Handcrafted Custom Designs
Anne Vaughan Jewelry collections are handcrafted in the studio. Each collection includes a variety of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Many of the pieces are made to be worn together and layered. One of my favorites was a herringbone crystal necklace that coordinated with a matching pair of earrings. I could wear them to dress up an outfit, or with casual jeans and a top.
The Artistic Details
Each piece in the Anne Vaughan Jewelry collection I received felt classy enough for dressing up. Some of the necklaces were artistic collages of freshwater pearls, amethyst beads, crystals, and gemstones. One showed off a beautiful crystal pendant wrapped in a herringbone wire setting. Another was adjustable from 16 to 18 inches, which made it perfect for layering.
The Anne Vaughan team handcrafts each piece at their studio in Floyd, Virginia. Their collections range from classic to glamorous, whimsical, and bohemian, so it is easy to find a style you love. The slightly randomized bead placement is part of the charm. It makes each necklace one-of-a-kind.
Easy to Mix and Match
What I enjoyed most was how easily the pieces mixed and matched. A long tassel necklace looked great with jeans and a t-shirt, and the blue tones paired nicely with denim. A skirt and top worked well with a long statement necklace and the amethyst dangle earrings. Because the jewelry pieces coordinated with so much, I loved combining them different ways.
Anne Vaughan accessories come in earth tones, vibrant jewel tones, and shimmery cool hues. Each piece was well made and held up nicely through regular wear. They also arrived beautifully packaged. The necklaces came in a gift-ready box, and the earrings in a tidy sleeve, which made them easy to give as gifts.

Sometimes you just need a little sparkle for fun. My daughter loved these accessories as much as I did, and she would often borrow a piece or two. It was sweet to share something pretty with my little girl, who loves to copy her mama.
Meet the Designer Anne Vaughan
I had the chance to catch up with Anne Vaughan and learn what inspires her designs.
How did you start your own jewelry line? Anne: I began creating jewelry after my second child was born. It provided a wonderful creative outlet and some extra income too. At first I sold one-of-a-kind pieces, without a full layered-collection approach. We have definitely evolved over time.
What inspires your bead and color combinations? Anne: Almost anything inspires me: textiles, paintings, even the materials that happen to be on my workspace. My intuition guides me toward a specific aesthetic.
How do you balance design work and motherhood? Anne: I try to keep an 8 to 5:30 schedule as best I can, and make the most of the moments we have. I aim for quality time over quantity. I am a work in progress here.
Anne founded her company in 2006 as a way to work while being a mom. She continues to design each piece with a talented team of makers. Her jewelry line is sold at retail events, festivals, and boutiques across the United States. It is always nice to support a small business and a woman entrepreneur.
