Having a new baby introduces all kids of “firsts”, even if you’ve already had several children. All of my deliveries were fairly similar but my experience bringing each baby home and caring for them during the infant stage was different. The best thing you can do for yourself to prepare for a new baby is to stock up on essential gear for making the baby days a little easier. Covered Goods makes it simple and comfortable to breastfeed your baby with their airy and discrete coverings made from gorgeous fabrics.

I loved the breastfeeding stage, for as long as it lasted. All of my kids didn’t want to go beyond 6-8 months. Breastfeeding always started out easy for me with few complications but around 6 months I would get out of a routine, struggle with supply, or in the case of two of my kids; they up and refused to drink from one side. All of my kids also loved bottles, so when I found myself pumping just to fill a bottle, I was pretty much done. Nevertheless, the few months I was able to enjoy breastfeeding were memorable and precious; cozy times alone with my baby and great excuses to take a break from mommy life.
The most essential basic for a simple breastfeeding routine is a reliable nursing cover. I’ve tried many styles and I always appreciate the designs that provide good coverage, airflow for me and baby so we don’t get too hot, and soft fabrics. Covered Goods multi-use nursing covers provide all of these features and then some. You can use these soft covers as a nursing cover, car seat cover, infinity scarf and even a cart cover. I would add that you can also use nursing covers as a simple baby blanket and swaddle.
Covered Goods nursing covers come in gift-ready packaging and you can choose from a huge variety of gorgeous patterns; from stripes and solids to florals, patterns and plaids. This nursing cover is a great baby shower idea!
