Disney on Ice is a great show for families with kids. The experience is magical and colorful and the talented ice skaters are fun and inspiring! Here are a few tips and things to bring to enjoy a memorable time at Disney on Ice.
It’s awesome living close to Pacific Northwest destinations such as Seattle, Washington. On a family trip we explored Pike Place Market, burned some energy at Seattle Center Artists at Play playground enjoyed a relaxing visit to Woodland Park Zoo. See the highlights of our visit!
Going to Disney on Ice is a great opportunity to spend a special family day together. Kids can wear a dress up outfit and see their favorite characters retelling beloved stories on the ice. A live performance is much different than an animated show and each Disney on Ice show magically brings classic stories to life. Kids, teenagers and adults will enjoy seeing Mickey & Minnie, Moana, Aladdin & Jasmine, characters from Toy Story and more reenacting the highlights from many Disney stories.

We recently visited the Seattle area in Washington state and we stayed near Tukwila’s Family Fun Center. This pacific northwest family travel destination has bowling, rides, bumper cars, go karts and more; something for all ages!
Traveling in the winter can be a fun way to mix up your family’s routine and spend some quality time together. When choosing a hotel on a family trip, it’s helpful to research destinations ahead of time so you know how long it will take to get there and which amenities are available for your family to enjoy. We’ve found that family travel especially with young kids goes much more smoothly with a little thoughtful planning.

Visit the Seattle Museum of Flight on your next trip to Washington. My kids enjoyed sitting in fighter jet cockpits, exploring the air traffic control tower and seeing big airplanes up close. I’m excited to share the highlights of our visit!

Our family loves going on adventures. We have 3 young kids which can make it challenging to find the right adventures to go on. Our recent family trip took us to Seattle where we visited one of our favorite places, the Woodland Park Zoo!
